Community Guidelines

Islamogram is a space for Muslims to connect, learn, and share — with the ummah in mind. These guidelines exist to keep the space safe, halal, and welcoming for everyone.

1. Keep content halal

  • No nudity, sexual content, or immodest imagery.
  • No promotion of alcohol, drugs, gambling, or interest-based finance.
  • No dating content or explicit music.

2. Respect one another

  • No hate speech, slurs, or harassment — including sectarian attacks.
  • Disagree with adab. Correct with kindness.
  • Protect the honor of others in their absence.

3. Zero tolerance for extremism

Islamogram is a platform for moderate, mainstream Muslims. Extremism — under any banner, from any group — has no place here. This is non-negotiable.

  • No support, glorification, funding, or recruitment for terrorist organisations, armed groups, or any entity designated by international bodies — regardless of ideology.
  • No calls to violence against any person or community.
  • No takfir (declaring other Muslims outside the fold), no sectarian incitement, no content that dehumanises Muslims or non-Muslims.
  • No content that promotes coercion in religion — "there is no compulsion in the deen" (Qur'an 2:256).
  • No conspiracy theories or misinformation that endanger people.

Accounts that violate this section are removed immediately, without warning, and reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.

4. Be honest

  • Don't impersonate others.
  • Don't spread unverified religious rulings — cite scholars.
  • No spam, scams, or manipulation.

5. Protect minors

You must be at least 13 to use Islamogram. Content that endangers minors is removed immediately and reported to authorities where required.

Enforcement

Violations lead to content removal, temporary limits, or account suspension. Appeals are available on any moderation action.

Independence

Islamogram is an independent product. We are not affiliated with any political party, government, movement, organisation, or armed group — anywhere in the world. Any similarity between our name and unrelated brands, groups, or historical references is coincidental and not an endorsement.
